From what I understand, I have to enable Pin 42 to hook up my efans correctly. How can I do this? If a tune is needed, is there anyone in AR that does this?

 

Anyone with tuning software can do it, but they have to use a license ($100) to do it unless they have unlimited for that year. Best bet if that is all you need is get a hold of Jesse at wait4me and he will usually do it for only the cost of return shipping, but you would have to go with out your truck for a week or so since you would have to mail him your PCM.

 

Will HP tuner software do this? This is probably a stupid ?, but Im new to the tuning

 

Yes, but unless they have unlimited for your year of truck, they will have to use 2 credits ($49 each) to license your pcm to the software in order for the reflash.

 

I know someone that has the "dealer" tuner or whatever its called. He runs a performance shop locally.
