hi, 1st off i know what the main response is goin to be (get custom tune) but has anybody used the edge evolution? if so what did you think about it or your opiion on it overall other then paper weight. thanks

 

my buddy has it on his 2006 gmc 5.3 and it cool has lots of gauges it suck s on the econ setting but the race tune it runs good and will spin the tires and it shifts firmer too. stock the truck would not spin the tires . he has the cst edge tuner . you can get a custom tune then get the bully dog watch dog for gauges for about the same price as the edge cts .

 

I liked mine. economy mode sucked and got worse gas mileage than trans only. It really added power to my truck.

 

same as my friend worse mpg on econ he gets best mpg on race performance setting ..

 

i had it on my truck before i got a tune now its just for a guage display and alerts.. it was ok not much more noticable than stock.. i have/had it and i recomend a custom tune
