Does a Crank Relearn really help
#1
I've had a tuned computer for quite awhile now.. (wait4me), I know.....you get what you pay for.
But, with that being said, the tune knocks and pings like a bastard. There isn't much difference in power between the stock and the 'tuned' computer, but the throttle response is a little better, and the mileage seems to be a little better. I can't stand the knock though, so my stock computer is back in now.
Will a crank relearn take care of the knock. I don't want the spend the money if it won't.

Only thing a CR does is checking for Misfires if im not mistaken. So i dont see how it will help you.
Ive heard alot of guys running a W4Me tune that have alot of pinging, Mine wasnt in but a few minutes cause of the way it shifted was way too sloppy.
