My truck is throwing p0300 random missfire code. It has been missing since I have put the stroker in. It only misses between 2500 and 3000 rpms. What do you guys think. It runs strong but if I get on it from a dead stop it stumbles and then takes off like a bat out of hell. The plugs look alright and I have new plug wires. I have a new fuel filter and ran seafoam through the fuel system.

What size stall converter are you running? You may need to up the misfire count, I had the same problem when I was running a TCI 3K stall, upped the misfire count and all was good.

I will look this up in my factory maintenance manual when I get a little more time. However, I'm sure that GM recommends a crank relearn anytime the crank or the crank reluctor or the inductive pickup is changed. What have you done in the way of data logging and tuning since the engine change?
