Denali 6.2 WOT Problems
#12
Mod list is as below:
ARH Headers
SLP UD
MAST Escalade L92 cam (220/234 .570/.588 116)
Comp 918s
AFE CAI
Everything else is stock... Im getting this feeling it is cam related, I keep getting the cam over advanced, so when I'm at idle my cam looks like its stuck in advance... this could be the reason for the KR...plus my oil pressure is stuck on at 3/4...
I've just ordered a bolt cover for an Ls2...so once it arrives and the new cam goes in, ill see how it goes...

The cam should be fully advanced at idle. Do you remember seeing a groove in the second cam bearing journal for the oil to feed the phaser? Also did Mast include a limiter block for the phaser. I installed one of the Comp L92 cams with their phaser limiter with no issues or codes. I haven't wrung it completely out yet, need to hook up the wide band this weekend and get the PE correct first. Your high oil pressure makes me think no oil is getting to your phaser.

nonnie, that sounds like something my electrician and mechanic could've missed! i'll take a look for it

I've triple checked all the grounds, and my electrician has told me its all good... pulled the fuse box and gave it a clean..
llaverito thanks for the input.. is this wire located from the battery down onto the front part of the chassis?
it sounds like a short circuit happening... the engine doesn't die, it stays on, the transmission dis-engages and revs freely, and sometimes like the video switches the dash lights off..
another thing i find weird, is the fact the A/C controls go from what I've set to sometimes degrees Fahrenheit and sometimes Celsius.. Switches the passenger control on and rear A/C on too :/
PS. Removed the VVT so I don't think it is that anymore..

found out what the problem was... the headers would press against the ignition wiring harness and the against the chassis causing a short.. relocated the ignition wiring harness to another location and everything is working great!
