Trying to help a friend get his truck ready for a meet this weekend. Went to pick his truck up on the 4th, but had some plans for the rest of the summer change on the 3rd. Anyway, Im under some time constraints now, and HAVE to get it ready this afternoon.

When it showed up, it would run fine, just needed some VE tuning, but it wont stay running with the IAC plugged in. I figured me being the nice guy I am would try to get it all right. Plugged the IAC in yesterday, and a tune to start with (the one thats in my truck) and couldnt get it to idle, anyway, long story short, I ended up putting everything back how it was (I think(no I didnt think to upload the tune that was in there, just went off what I was told should be it )) well now, it dies at every red light, and on the way to work, wouldnt shift out of 3rd, and sometimes wont downshift to 1st at a stop (I think this may be because I have top 2 foot it though) I can command 4th, and TCC with HPtuners, but why isnt it doing it itself?

Need some advice. I get off at 3:30, and the fam and I are heading out of town bout 5:00.

 

I allready told you my opinions on everything... that should fix it and make it run like a dream, next time you take on a project like this don't wait so long to ask for help

March of last year I got in a fight with my 1st wifes husband and beat the **** out of him, so my ex decided whe wouldnt let me see the kids. Got visitation re-instated then went to trial on a custody issue, I ended up getting tossed in jail in Dec for contempt, and my visitation was suspended cause the ex lied and said I pushed her when the fight occured, so I was found to be a portrayer of domestic violence, and she took the kids and moved to Tenn. Well my visitation got re-instated in june, and my kids just got down here Wed. So Im spending time with them, and their step-mom as much as possible. We were going to Miss to the camp, but now the first wife is starting **** about taking them out of state, anyway, I will not be making it unfortunatly.

I do want to race him though, after the last mods, for both of us, I think itll be a close one.
