I did the custom tuned ECM swap from black bear and I had to do the security relearn...Which was no problem.
Now I have the check engine light on, which a mechanic friend hooked up his scan tool to, and it reads the code (crankshaft relearn), but his scan tool doesn't go up to the 08 models apparently to reset it.
He suggested I might have to take it to a dealership to have it done....I don't think that's too good of an idea. I really don't feel they need to know about this "modification".
An other ideas for me? What proticol does the new silverado run?

Does it hurt anything driving it this way until I find someone that has the current scan tool?

Idk about taking it to the dealership, though ive heard they cant really tell that its "tuned". If i remember correctly, you need a CanOBDII for the newer vehicles?
