Ok so i just got my Efi live V1 and ive been doing some scaning and loging, no tuneing yet.

well about 2 weeks ago i did a cam swap for a buddy of mine and he has a blackbear mailorder so he needs a crank relearn done, but the dealership is like
WTF is that? so nobody around here has a brain to do it.

my question is, i hooked up my cable to his truck and went to do the crank relearn but it dont do anything after clicking the CASE button, we let it warm up and the first box never turned green to show its working. What do i do to make it work.

ive read that certain engine codes will not allow it to do the learn but he is only getting missfire codes.

after you click it rev the truck up to the 4k fuel shut off in a span of 2-3seconds..then shut off truck for 30sed. should be all set after that...if fuel shut off does not kick in at 4k rpm then something is wrong.

 

Ok. So that's the trick. I read on efi live forum and searched around and couldn't find a definent answer if that's what u had to do
