I was thinking about getting the CraneArms Power Programmer and stage three cam for my truck. It has built-in tunes for three of there cams so it should work perfectly. What do you guys think? Do you think a mail order tune and a cam would be better?

 

Well, if you can get it street or dyno tuned, that would be best. If not, one of the proven mail order tuners would probably be the way to go. The Crane unit is a pretty good one though. I used to have it and used it with the Cam 1 setting for the cam in my sig and it worked very well. I would imagine that it would work even better for one of their own cams.

 

Well if this is goning to be your only mod, the the crane programer might work pretty well, but I'd still rather get a mail order tune.

 

I have this tuner as well...I am new to it, but it seems to work great!! I think it has the level 2 cam in my truck (I just bought it). So I will play around with it. It pulls harder than an 05 6.0....that is all I know!!!
