Anyone have a pinout/ wiring diagram for electronic climate control on an 04 avalanche or something similar? I am having some troubles with mine constantly blowing fuses. Thanks

Just a quick test - unplug the blower motor first, see if it pops or if it takes a few seconds. (Your blower motor may be bad pulling high current.
Also check the blower motor resistor.

Which climate control do you have, manual or the automatic digital type?

Here Justin, some of these are for manual controls and some are for auto controls, couldnt remember which your avalanche has.

It has the automatic digital control. If one plug is unplugged (either one) it won't blow the fuse. I tried unplugging the blower motor and the fuse still blew. I forgot to try the resistor but I will try that one tmrw. Thanks again for the helpful hints/ pics.

Sorry to thread jack! But I am trying to wire in an a/c system out of an 04 into a 93 silverado. I don't have the digital I have the manual. Can it be done without running it through the ecm out of the 04? Any help would be appreciated!

There is 5 wires that go into the ecm from the wiring harness. Compressor relay control, 5volt low reference, low reference, a/c freon pressure sensor & PCM class 2 serial data. As far as the compressor relay I know I can wire that up with a relay or 2 and run a 2 wire pressure sensor in stead of a 3. The low reference wires and the class 2 serial data is what is holding me up on planning this out. From what I can tell the low reference wires only trip on when the PSI switch is completing the circuit. So since the class 2 serial data wire is coming from the control panel I would guess that it would turn the compressor relay on when turned on. So please if anybody knows anything on this chime in.
