So I'm a real newbie when it comes to HPT and tuning. Understand the basic principles but no way I'm messing with my tune for a while.
I scanned a nitrous run (see hpl below), take a look!
In a previous scan I did get some KR, I sent my tuner (Rick@synergy) the log file and he made some adjustments in the tables taking some timing out of the high load area. It's pretty awesome I can send him scans and he can send me revised tunes, just like that!
Here's what I don't quite understand. I started this scan rolling about 42mph, when I nailed it I shifted into 2nd. (from 4th) and the tires broke loose until I let off the throttle leaving a ice long patch of double black lines. Why does the scan show that I was going 85? Aren't the speed sensors in the front? Could I have possibly been going 85mph spinning all the way up from 42?
Tell me what you see and how you see it, thanks!

When you spin your tires your speed is based on the RPM of the input shaft and maybe the output shaft of the transmission so the tires spin and the engine RPMs climb and the speed sensors think you are going faster than you are. Your tires were spinning at 85 mph.

your vehicle speed is taken at the output shaft so if your tires break loose that is the reading it shows

dont kid yourself (and us), pretty soon you will be like dewey and be logging your truck on the way to work and tweaking the tune while your on break
