Had a party at my house tonight and before we drank too much I took a friend of mine for a ride in the crew cab.....we did a burn out then went on to check out 1/4 time on my g-tech.....showed 14.92 @ 98mph...LOL (think the MPH is a lil off!) well shortly after my check engine light came on...WTF?!?! My truck only has 9889 miles on it. I have not changed anything on my truck recently. The only thing I noticed before the check engine light came on is it sounded like I have a big cam....It would lope at idle. The lope at idle doesn't always occur....just happen every now and then. Tomorrow I'm going to plug up the Predator, I think it will show some possible issues. If this doesn't help then Monday I'm going to bring it to my Father-N-Law shop and put the scanner on it to see if I can solve the problem without bringing it to the dealerSHIT.

I've checked all the normal things that could cause the Check Engine light to come on like the gas cap not being tight and so on.....Any other suggestion to fix this problem without having to spend the time with the scanner or bringing to the dealership would be greatly appreciated.
