I was planning on installing my 6.0 this weekend but Charlie Wheatley cant get a pcm to me untill later next week at the earliest
. So I guess Im wondering if/how good will a 6.0 run on a 5.3 tune? Will it hurt anything? If it wont run on the tune or risk hurting anything Ill try and wait tell the following weekend, thanks guys

Should work ok. The MAF, MAP, and O2s will still read the same and they are what control your closed loop/driving operation. The open loop could off quite a bit but that's mostly cranking, cold idle/driving, and WOT.
It might crank hard and I would guess going WOT would be something to avoid.
Even though the MAP will read correctly, the VE table is in %-of-displacement. The computer thinks you have a a 5.3 and so it will calculate the fueling based on that size. Obviously, 95%VE on a 6.0 (342CIs of air) is more than 95% on a 5.3 (310CIs of air), thus you will be lean with your 5.3 tune. It should be close enough to not really be a major issue (in this case only 32CIs of air) but it's just something to keep in mind.
Only big issue to point out is DO NOT go changing your injectors (didn't know if you had any plans to) without the tune as the fueling will be way off.
