Uh, Yup.
Do you have an aftermarket stereo system?
Have you been to the dealer lately.

My tune was over written by the dealer in my last truck with the HTPPIII. When i went to reload the program it stopped working and my truck was non-op. I sent the PCM back to hypertech and it was declared dead.

Is this similar?

Check all the fuses in the dash and under the hood? I've heard it isn't terribly hard to fry a PCM...what a good excuse for a custom tune.

Cool

Check the CIG LTR fuse in the underhood fuse panel. I am sure that I heard that is the fuse that supplies power to the ALDL diagnostic port under the dash but I am not 100% sure of that.
Good luck.

do this... im willing to bet this is what is wrong. For some reason on the trucks with the three power outlets this fuse blows when trying to use the port numerous times.. i cant remember if its a 15 or 20amp fuse.. but i'd upgrade to a 30 amp if you'll be using that port normally... myself and a few others have put a slightly larger fuse in there and no problems since. Mine blew because of the laptop being in the power outlet AND hptuners being hooked to the diagnostic port.

that why i run my lap top in my 12vdc acc plug and not the cid lighter socket they are on diffrent fuses and the acc plug has a bigger fuse in it stock on mine. same thing happen to me had laptop inverter plugs into cig lighter plug and popped fuse.
