Angry Blinking SES Light

Sometimes if let's say I'm stopped at a red light or a RR crossing for to long and I barely let off the brake and coast forward my truck kinda "hops" and then my SES light will blink for about 10 seconds then go off and maybe come on again just depending on how long I'm stuck in one place and not moving. What could be the problem?

for me it was a bad injector. 1st time i saw the blinking ses it tripped me out, thought i was going to have a dead engine soon. Go get it scanned to see if its missfiring and which one it is and go from there.

Pull your plugs and check each one on this link

You could try a sea foam treatment in the tank, then later try the sea foam spray can with the straw to try to clean things internally

blinking SES light means random multiple misfire. pretty easy to diagnose. its guna be eiather a plug, wire, injector or coil pack. have fun figuring out which one it is. do you have access to a live scanner?

I don't have access to one and the dillhole at autozone can only do check engine lights so I went to a shop over here in Saginaw where I work and they wanted to charge me $60 to hook it up and tell me so I just turned around and walked out.

i would try this then, and i get to keep it

You will figure it out... I remember it took me a few days to nail it. Ended up buying an injector from ebay to remedy the problem. For you it could be anything that Tx mentioned
