I just recently got my truck tuned by Justin from Blackbear Performance through the mail using the option to borrow the scan equipment. I would first like to say that the costumer service was top top notch and very quick. I literally got an email every day from start to finish and every question I had was answered imediately. The truck ran perfectly before I even did any logging, the shift points and firmness were right on, the idle is smooth for having a cam and the throttle response is an amazing difference. He also did a custom operating system through EFI live that allows me to pull timing when I hit a switch that I wired into the PCM so that I can run nitrous safely and still have full NA performance. I have had 2 tunes from 2 other people; 1 through the mail and the other in person and this is by far the best. I also learned how to do some logging and send all the files to have him look at them and his tune was literally right on the money. Thanks to Justin, my truck should be finished intime to go to the track next week and again excellent customer sercvice.

 

Justin is the MAN!!! He helps out so many people on this board and EFI Live that don't even have a tune from him!!!

 

Besides being very very knowledgeable this is probably one of his best attributes. Heard he is starting a residential electric company as well , he can tune and put recessed lighting in too.

 

Everytime I have every asked some wierd odd ball question about EFI Live he knew the answer, I have even PMed him a couple of times about questions and he answered them. I did not even know he was a tuner, I thought he was just a good guy that knew about tuning, then I found out he was a tuner. Oh he also teaches this stuff too!!

 

I wish he still lived down the block

Boy you guys are pumping me up! I purchased EFILive off Justin with tune. I received the engine tune but have not installed it yet. I am waiting on the trans tune. I can't wait to load them!!! He certainly post tons of good info and his service seems to be excellent so far.

 

I have nothing but great things to say about justin. I logged my truck with a friend of mine and he sent the logs to justin and a few days later he asked me some mod q's and off it was. got it in 2 days! great guy and a really good way to write a tune. oh and he made my shift kit that I put in work even better than before.

 

I recently had him tune my truck in person,trucks is running better than ever.Justin really knows what he is doing and customer service can't be beat.
