i get a reduced engine power, check engine light periodically. It will not accelerate or rev past 1700 when this d@%* light is on. anyone else have this issue too, my truck is a 04 ecsb 4.8. If youve experienced this issue as well how did you remedy the situation? Before the ext warranty was up i took it to a local dealership and they said nothing waas wrong with my truck but i call bs seeing how it did it 4 times in one day. they cleaned the tb and it quit for about 6-8 months but i get it three to four times a year now. any help will be appreciated thanks

 

you need to start by scanning the computer and determining which code it is...then you can start looking the different systems in your truck. could be fuel, electrical, vacuum etc
