any one solved the P069E code problem?

Question any one solved the P069E code problem?

the code appeared today in my uncels 09 tahoe 5.3 non e85 motor

the engine has a weard knocking sound and it starts after traying to start it for many times but it shuts off after 5-7 minutes

this happend after we drove throuh a water strem that was 2-3ft high
i lookede for the code arround here it was
" Fuel Pump Control Module Requested MIL Illumination "

any one solved this??

Gotta use a tech 2 scan the Fuel pump control module and find out what code it has and why it's detecting it. The code you mentioned is just a flag code sent to the PCM by the fuel pump control module to turn on the MIL and alert the driver to a problem

im a gm driveability tech and the p069e if fuel pump module request illumiation, i bleieve that year has a recall for the modules getting water in them or simply the module goes bad thats the only real problems i recall seeing
