he's using the magnacharger tune. that should be fine. i'd be betting on the fuel pressure. probably a problem in the tank. .890 is lean for a magnacharger at anything over 40% throttle.

yes set the rate to 1.00, that enrichment rate delays full pe fuleing giving it to you over a period of time instead of instantly. Why GM did it that way I dont know. But the minute you get to where you need that extra fuel its got to be there. A setting of 1 says give me all my pe fueling now.

I got my buttons mixed up Im at work, with **** going on around me. Its button above the map hysterisis. We lower that one so that it will never be a question of map reading keeping you out of pe fueling, you can set it too 5 if you want. All the conditions of tps-map etc have to be met for pe mode to be entered.

Didnt realize it was audible kr, normally those small little blips that are random and go away quickly arent the real thing, if its around 1kr I dont worry about it.

Are you still running the maf? What sort of pulse width are you seeing? inj size?

On the fi engines Ive tuned and seen the stock 02's normally read around 910-920 with an afr of 12.2:1-12.5:1 wot this is what you should be shooting for. I would enable pe whenever you start to see boost.

If it weren't audible, I would advise getting rid of it in the tuning, but if it's audible, it's obviously, undoubtably a problem.

Actually the enrichment rate is the incrememnts the PCM enrichs. So .. if it's set to .2 and you have a target PE rate of 1.6, it takes 3 steps to get there. If the enrichment rate is .1, and the target is 1.65, it takes 7 steps to get there. Where as if the enrichment rate was 1, it takes 2 steps to get there. So ... to say it's instantaneous, is incorrect, but close none the less.

BTW, running MAFless with an FI setup is a really BAD idea, unless there is some drastic changes made to the tuning, such as a 2bar or better MAP setup with an expanded VE table.

this is a quote from chris at hptuners
"a value of 1.0 basically means there is no ramp in to PE mode, the fuel will switch from 1.0 (14.7) to whatever your PE values are instantly."

the value will go as high as 4 I have seen no difference between 4 and 1 my logs relate it whenever I reach conditions where pe should be enabled it is right there. Maybe the theoretical math differs but its symantics when you talking about 1*10^-100 of a second

this guy doesn't need to alter the magnacharger programming. he needs to find the problem.

I agree .. there prolly isn't any noticable difference. But ... just for inquiring minds, that's the way it works.
