Default Adjustable fuel pressure regulator

Can you guys tell me if anyone has an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that will bolt on in place of the factory regulator on 2003 Silverado 6.0 L?

Thanks

Carlos

Why do you want to go to a adj reg??? The factory one works great,(even for FI) unless you are changing to a diff style intake

I think someone had said you can get one at oreillys. I am not sure how adjustable they are but you might check there first.

I don't know how far they will go, but it is a decent amount. A friend of mine has a '99 that is equiped with the factory adjustable regulator. He checked his pressure and it was set at 48psi, he adusted it back to 62psi without a problem. Of course he needs to get put back on the wideband, as it was tuned at the 48psi and now is rich as all get out.

The IFR (injector flow rate) table will need to be rescaled correctly if the fuel pressure is raised at the fuel rail. If you can get more pressure out of the regulator it is somewhat of an alternative to buying larger injectors as the higher pressure will make the injectors you currently have act larger.

I too would be curious if I could get an adjustable reg.

There is an adjustable ACDelco available. Not sure of the part number. I bought one. Does your stocker have a lil torx screw in the middle? That's all the adjustable one has. you can adjust the spring pressure.

Search you may find the part number. I think Ray (Supersub) gave me the part #.
