Default Adding a read file to autocal

I have a blackbear autocal pre configured to e38 ecu t43 tcu. I want to use it on a 2008 avalanche with e38 ecu and t42 tcu(4speed) how can I change the trans read file or add another one. There are 3 blank (read n/a) spots on my autocal.

I have never used Autocal, but this is what I do for the Flashscan V2.

Open EFILive Scan and Tune

On the left side click on F5:BBX

At the bottom of the screen click the down arrow on the right side of the save box, and save as (you choose the name, but I ususally do something like E38 T43)

At the top of the screen highlight F2:Scan and tick the appropriate boxes for the system you will be reading and tuning.

At the top of the screen highlight F3:Tune and tick the appropriate boxes for the system you will be reading and tuning.

Save as again with your name of choice something like E38 T42.

Click the down arrow on the program button at the bottom of the screen and click Program Selections and Configuration Files (Slower).

Let me know how that works for you.

Sounds like your Autocal may needs to be "reconfig'd" as you should see a t E38 and T42 in your read file .......... your provider can send you the correct config file save it to your computer and go to BBX click open and select the saved config file click down arrow on Program button chose format then click program

I am not 100% certain as I have only used the V2. The save function is only letting you save it to your computer so that it will load easier as all your PID's are selected. Try to program it to the autocal. Hopefully someone with Autocal experience will chime in.

In my humble opinion the available instructions are pretty terrible and hard to follow at first from Blackbear and EfiLive and a little hard to find on their website (no offence Blackbear). I think someone technologically advanced should do some youtube videos to help for some of the newbies. Blackbear does offer remote support however which is great on their behalf.

Start here for instructions:

Justin from BB sent me the files I needed and then I saved that file to my desktop and opened it in BBX and then hit program. After that I unplugged my autocal and plugged it back in and all the read files I need are there.
