Question AC-?? 05 tahoe.. Help please

The ac in the tahoe will not work, will only blow hot air. At first it was just a intermittent thing, but now it only blows hot air all the time. I scanned it and came up with a few codes.. Temperature control 1 and temp control 2 circuit, also recirculating positioning feedback circuit.. Do all of these codes come from the HVAC control module?? Are there more then 1 of these?? And where the hell is it so I can replace it?? Thanks for any help..

No experience with a Tahoe, but my Avy should be similar. The ***** inside the truck are attached to the HVAC control module...same modular concept as the 4WD module you pull on console if you are familiar with that. I think there are 2 fuses and a relay for the A/C in the underhood fuse box, so I would check those if you have not already. Also unless you physically see the compressor clutched kicked in and turning the shaft, before I pulled anything if you have HPT (or similar) I would command the A/C compressor on with the scanner. If you don't have HPT you can try a jumper on the low level sensor - should be located near the firewall passenger side - pull harness and jump with paper clip, etc. and see if compressor comes on. If you are totally out of refrigerant or other problem that won't work....but it may tell you if that sensor is bad or not. If okay there I would start at the compressor harness and there is also a pressure sensor there to check then work backwards to point in the direction of the root problem. The HVAC control module ties into a lot of stuff so a lot to go wrong. Sorry not much to go on but hope it helps a little. Good Luck.

pressure cycle switches are also know to go out.....it was the culprit with my truck. a/c was intermittent...then just hot air.
