Question About to buy a used tuner

Wasnt planning on getting one but someone near me has a diablo i1000 for 200$.
I have a 2006 sierra with a 5.3 only mod is an air raid intake elbow and stock air box. I know a lot of people aren't a fan of diablo and instead prefer efi live or HP tuners. Ive also heard people say to not even put a tune on these trucks because it is a waste of money. Yes I DID do a Google and forum search and didnt find anything specific to my case. It could be sold soon so I wanted to find out immediately if it is worth it. Also for this tuner do they just have to take the tune off of their vehicle so I can use it on mine or will I have to purchase credits?

THANK YOU!!!!!

I have/use this tuner and love it. it's a little tricky to use at first.
once you learn the diff functions it's easy

I was told the tuner isnt vin specific so you can use it on unlimited number of vehicles. How many vehicles can be on the scanner without buying credits?

Default tuner

It's only for one vehicle, no credits req, free updates from their site.
just plug it in to your computer and do a download.

Tell him to show you that he returned his back to stock. When I sold my hypertech programmer I did the relearn in front of him. That way he knew it was good to go.
