Default 99 tahoe cranks but won't start

i don't get a security light, so i don't think its passlock. i don't hear the fuel pumpwhen i turnit on ot put 12 volts to the bypass wire under the hood. the pump was replaced about 8000 miles ago. could this be the connector/corrosion problem i've been reading about.

You need to check that connector at the sending unit. Use a jump box or jumper wire to give it 12 volt @ the connector by the tank. Still no noise??? pull the tank. At that point ithas to be the pump or sending unit.
