I was told my 99 ecm will not run my 05 e fans, wiring harnesses, and radiator.
I have a complete set up and cant run it through my ecm like the 05 and up,is this a correct statement?
Couldn't I just swap to a newer ecm 02 up and swap some pins around and have a new tune done?
Thanks
Ed

Its pretty well all covered here. I've got mine setup so that anytime there is an AC request with a coolant temp of 50 degrees F or higher the fans turn on low. The fans are only capable of being turned on low by the AC request itself. In order for them to come on high with the AC on the coolant temp would have to reach 220 degrees. The fans running on low moves so much more air than the stock clutched fan did at 500 rpms that there is no need for them to kick on high anyway. Maybe if you were in the middle of a 140 degree jungle but otherwise there really is no need.
