Default 90 mm TB wiring

Has anyone figured out the wiring to go from a 03-07 8 pin 78mm throttle body to an 08+ 87/90 mm 6 pin throttle body?? It can't be rocket science, but I refuse to pay more for a harness than I did for the rest of the intake and throttle body setup. I have schematics showing each wire for the plugs. The 8 pin has the same as the 6 pin except 2 each of the low reference and the 5 volt reference. Could I not loop these together and make it work??

Has anyone ran a TBSS intake and throttle body setup on their truck without buying an x link??

There is no way around this unless you can figure out the wiring yourself. The guys that know how to do it are the ones that make the conversion kits, and won't tell. I had to buy one too.

Here's the diagrams for both throttle bodies. I suggest getting someone to run the accelerator pedal for you with the vehicle off to see if the range of motion is correct.

I have all the diagrams and pinouts from gm, but I still can't figure out why the 8 pin has 2 low references and 2 5 volt references. If I knew exactly what each one did I could figure it out.

i know there is an issue with voltage sent and voltage returned....when my X-link failed the voltage sent to the throttle body did not match what was returned and it went into limp mode. the computer knows everything is ok if the two match....
