Default 85mm SLP MAF on 5.3

I found an SLP MAF I had sitting around from an old setup. It's the Z06 style and I believe has the built in IAT sensor. Would there be any benefit to me throwing it on my mostly stock 5.3? Any benefit after more mods are done? Would it require a tune to work properly?

There would be virtually no benefit to swapping MAF sensors unless you are maxing your original one out. The only benefit would be the very very slightly less restriction to going to a larger opening, and then again you more than likely have more restrictions down the intake stream. Yes, it would require the MAF sensor to be recalibrated in order to work. Does it have 5 wires? If so then the IAT sensor is built into it (Im not 100% certain on this, but if it had 3 wires I would say it doesnt have the IAT)
