Well I got it running, but it wants to idle lean. I thought that was wierd, I was expecting it to want to idle rich. I have played with numerous different things trying to get it to idle right but no luck. Wants to idle at 18.0, anyone have any tips?http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14101

 

Its much better now, I had to change around min Min pulse width, default min pulse, offset vs. volts. etc. Now it idles at 14.7 and my part and WO fueling are very close. I didnt get enough daylight to do a WO run to the shiftpoint but I did go WO in 2nd gear but let out at round 5k rpm. At 5k rpm my IDC was only 50% haha, I like that because I looked at one of my old logs with the 44lbers and at that point I WAS at like 85% IDC before.

 

I had heard from some people that these injectors were a little loud but I cant hear them at all. ???

 

Did some more tuning today, still a tad rich on top end ( 11.1) but non the less at the shift point in 2nd gear(5600) my IDC was only 59%

 

sounds like its workin for ya. I had to change my min and default inj pulse width, except mine was real rich at idle and decel. I don't hear any noise from my injectors.

You're runnin 2bar OLSD? Do you run lean for about the first 30 sec at startup?

 

Ya I am runing OLSD, no I dont run lean at startup.

 

Huh? Mine runs lean for about 30 sec, then runs normal. It does it consistently. I went crazy trying to figure it out. HPTuners forum told me it was just some weird SD thing that happens. I wonder if it has to do w/ my '99 PCM? DAMNIT! Oh well.

 

We could always compare tunes and see what we come up with.
