Exactly what i was thinking on doing a 4L80e.......but wonder if the 80e is the same lenght as the 6spd....and same yoke to shaft cause damm i have a $600 shaft

measure one from the bellhousing to the end of the tail shaft...there is a write up or something about the 6spd vs the 4L80e or 60e.

Is your truck working fine now or do you dtill have problems with the tranny? Im thinking about doing the 6L80e on my truck its a 07 nnbs cc 4x4 but im still doing research do you think that i can still keep the 4x4 in my truck with this swap?

No reason you cant keep the 4wd just goin to have to use a front driveshaft from a 6.2 NNBS probably. Swap tranny flash pcm delete the externaal tcm and use a newer VIN for a 5.3 6l80 and you should be good to go.
