6.2/6L80e problems

I got a new code today after i swapped the ignition switch.
P0826
Up an down shift switch circuit.
Its basically saying every 8sec it doesnt have the required volts from the BCM to the TCM to keep from throwing a code. I dont even have TU/TD in my bcm. Why all of a sudden after 9 months is my truck requesting that? Im going to double check all of my fuses to make sure that it doesnt have a blown fuse. Im thinking of just trying to have someone delete the whole tu/td codes out of my truck

im going to buy a new harness for the 6speed how much is it?is it the whole thing with engine harness or seperate?

Its a whole harness. About 300-400 you may be able to find it in the junkyard with low miles. Keep what you have since you arent havin problems with it. I wish i could delete the codes forthe TU/TD bs bc i dont even have it muchless will i ever use it.
Im going to check all my fuses and grounds then checkthe volts, an ohms to check an see whats going on. If i keep having issues im going to pull it out and put a 4L80e on it

Ignition code is gone yes but the p1761 is still there along with the new p0826
Im getting annoyed with this truck. Im going to pull on the tcm wires and double check everything that i can to see if i have a broken wire. I cant see how this is giving me problems when ive had no problems.

I dont have a clue technically both DTC's should have been present from the get go. Have you done any PCM/TCM tuning recently that could have turned the codes back on where they could possibly haave been disabled previously. It's looking for continuity at the bcm from the tap shift switch it doesn't see the switch and is setting the 826// 1761 we went over that one earlier. My guess is to see if through your tuning software you can turn the codes off. After that your only option is get the feature working.

Nah i never changed anything other than rpm/mph from the dyno tune i had. HPtuner doesnt show those DTC's at all as an option to delete them. I have 12v from the bcm to the tu/td wires but i dont know what i have as far as the bcm to the ecm or tcm which ever that set of wires go. I went through an automatic car wash (a different one than i normally use friday night) and didnt get the issue till the next day. Im going to pull the tcm harness and clean it then use my air hose to dry it. Hopefully thats the issue.
I know that the tu/td wire requires a certain volt every 8 seconds, so if i have to i can T tap into the tu/td wire leading to the tcm to show it that bcm is getting the required volts. Worst case i'll just have to flash in a corvette operating system so the tcm doesnt rely on the BCM for a tu/td signal

the P0826 was enabled in my tune since the beginning but never came up before. so im guessing this P1761 is the reason that came up. i turned off the P0826, P0815, P0816 that are in HPtuner for the TUTD switch. so that P0826 code is gone
i do however still have the P1761, which Alldatapro says that it will not cause a SES light nor will the TCM do anything about it. the P1761 code is just a BCM to TCM signal that the TUTD switch isnt working so it will be in the TCM as a (pending, old, history, current, immature) dtc.
now all i need to do is figure out how to make the trans shift faster but not chirp the tires. ill keep this posted if the P1761 causes any problems. i have 2 days off so im sure ill find a problem with it then
