Default 6.2/6l80 into gmt 800

I am in the process of acquiring a 2005 k3500 6.0 with a bad 4l80e. I have a 6.2/6l80e complete drivetrain out of a 2007 Escalade sitting in the garage that I was wondering if it is possible to swap and still retain most features of the truck. (ac,cc,speedo, etc) I can re pin the harnesses if need be. I know it will need to be reprogramed. I read that Speartech did something similar with a 2wd. I'd like to use the 4wd transfer case already in the truck as I intend to replace my existing plow truck with this one. Also if anyone has the pinouts for either vehicle it would be greatly appreciated.
TIA, Duals

Also if it will work, what do I need to do to retain TUTD for the 6l80?

You'll have to use the gen4 ecm and wiring else the 6l80 wont work with a gen3 pcm.

It actually does but you need to go standalone with a unit called a TCM-2650 Mechatronic from an outfit called powertrain control solutions.

Honestly this swap is a huge hassle and has been done by a couple guys on this site as well. I want to run a 6L90e in my 04 2500 and will collect bits to try to do it for now. It's not going to be as clean as I like since you will not get the stock gear indicator or anything to work but it can be done. Just run the Gen 3 PCM for the engine and rest of the truck in my case.

I plan on running both ecm's. Will I need to piggy back the sensor signals from the e38 so both computers are reading the info for the gauges to work?

Honestly, for a plow truck I'd get the 4L80e fixed and continue on. If you were trying to upgrade your daily with a tired 4.8/5.3 and 4l60e to the 6.2 with 6L80/90, then it would be more worth it.

I think some of the gauges are fed from the BCM which uses serial data, and the E38 communicates via can so unsure of how it the two could talk.

Does anyone have any experience with the TCM 2650? Do you keep the tutd?
