yeah thats what my ls1 did when i first fired it up, but it didn't rev to 3-4 grand. is the brake booster vacuum line on right with no leaks? and are there any leaks in the intake gasket? did you make sure to not over tighten the intake manifold?

 

Well guys I finally got her running. emoved intake and checked all gaskets and at the same time swapped the injectors to the 42lbs. Problems solved, I guess some of the injectors were stuck. Woo hoo now time to tune . Thanks for every bodies help.
What would be a good way to clean the injectors? I guess you can;t leave them laying around or they will get stuck.

 

when i got my injectors it said to store the old ones in oil. that way they don't get stuck like that. never used them again so i can't say for sure.
