Talking 6.0 Lq4 with 4l80e

Background.
I just got my 6.0 combo installed and was wondering about something. I haven't had the final Dino tune done yet so it maybe a simple as asking him to do it. Just would like some heads up on this.
Has the stand alone harness and reflashed computer with just the standard tune right now. The truck is headed to the exhaust shop later this morning for 2.5" pipes and mufflers. Then the dino on Thursday I hope.

Question #1:
Can I get the transmission temp signal off the computer when he does the final tune.
I bought the Scangauge 2 for the truck and was trying it yesterday and it has it saved but there is no info, no temperature is showing. I have been told the computer is capable of doing this, is this true?
Here is the website for the gauge. Thanks for any info!

Hi Andy! I recognize that red text! You still doing the Cart thing? (I'm TheCartDude, fyi)

As far as the temperature goes, the transmission harness has a sensor in the pan. Since you're doing a standalone harness, it would depend on whether or not the sensor wiring is connected to the PCM. I'm not certain what you'd have to do to get it to read via OBD with the ScanGauge (if the sensor is indeed connected)

Talking Temperature reading

Yea , hey man I'm still messing with them. Not as much but I do enough to keep me some play money. I just finished a lift and wheels on a friends C/C cart with brakes.

Yea I bought the motor/trans with wiring so I don't know if it's got the stuff are not. I guess I will ask the tunner. Truck is having the exhaust done now. Waiting to hear from him and pick it up. The truck has never ran this good! I like me some 6.0!

Question Senor

Can anyone steer me to where the info is that I need. I really would like to know for sure.
I was told today I needed the vin # off the vehicle it came from, if that is so I'm done. I have no idea what it came out of.
