i bought a 6.0 lq4 engine out of an 2005 truck, had install my cam from the 5.3 into the 6.0, got another pcm out of an 06 gmc ???, spike tuned it and sent it back to me

well mechanic had my truck ready this morning, fires up all normal but driving it i noticed trouble, the best and shortes was to explain the trouble would be it drives like im at half throttle when im really at full

i know the coils from the 5.3 looked different but where used on the 6.0
intake was used from the 5.3 to the 6.0
new tr6 plugs where used

weird thing is i see no check engine light on

i only drove the truck around five miles, does it have to relearn? or maybe some kind of sensor should or shouldnt have been changed??

HELP PLEASE!!

 

forgot to mention, when i take off at "WOT" shiftpoints are around 4000 and the air fuel is at 14-14.5 kinda like before when i wasnt at full throttle

i highly recommened black bear tuning
justin will help you on the tune related issues.

i went with another tuner (sponsor) they say they use hp tuners
and i still should drill a hole in the throttle body blade,






recheck all your grounds in the back of the engine by the firewall
unhook the negative cable for a bit and see if that helps

i just disconnected the negative cable, i´ll check the grounds after

could it be that i need a cam relearn? because its a psm from another vehicle

 

Flaco used the harness, fuel rails, and intake from my 5.3 to my 6.0. I did upgrade the injectors to 42#. Your issue can be resolved.

 

What would u recommend me to do?

Sounds like the tune is off
