You sure your converter is locked in 4th at that point where you're comparing TIS and TOS RPM?

I can feel the convert lock-up but the rpm doesn't really drop at 60mph.
When the convert locks-up at 45mph it drop alot.

o.k yes the 80e has a input and output sensor.
I talked to the tranny guy and he said when the trans go's into forth gear the input out put shaft are spining the same speed. So you would take output and divided by the rpm give you the gear ratio.

I don't get it? The OD ratio is 0.75 so how can the input and output shafts be spinning the same speed? Please explain.

Sorry I’ll try to explain best I can.
It has to do where the sensor is located in the case and what parts they are reading. The input sensor is reading of the hub in the case witch is spinning in the third and forth gear the same speed as your output. So you will see the same speed as input and output in third and forth. So you will have divided you input or output by rpm to get your gear ratio. Sorry if doesn't help I’m not trans
