You said in this Quote that you can't power break at all.. Who is the Sponser that is tuning your Truck?? Blackbear??

Ok ya it was really hard to get mine to spin before I got a hand heald. Then it was a lil easier after I got it. Then I had a custome tune and I love it. Way better. Good luck with the sponsor.

Yes it's blackbear. But I'm not complaining about the tune at all. I just told them the truck had MIT and magnaflow and my friend wanted to stay on 87 octane. And the truck is a lot more responsive. I've used them before and had good results but I've never messed with all the electronics in these newer trucks. Like traction control torque management stabilitrac and so on.

I can hold the brake as hard as I can and give it full throttle and it will eventually push itself down the road. No tire spin. My 01 was a piece of cake to burn off the 20s, stock.

O I got ya. Im not sure y it wont burn the tirs off. BB has one hell of a reputation. Hell it could be a slight mishap. I figured it would spin the hell outta the tires if he did it. This new stuff on these trucks takes some getting used to. I was used to the older trucks myself. I love my truck now tho. Im gettin ready to do I pretty nasty cam swap in my truck. Just starting to buy parts now. I think im gonna do a 237 242 595 lift with a 112 lobe separation.

Dang that's a lot of cam in a 5.3. But yeah I know blackbear is good. I'm sure it was just a miscommunication. That's why I'm gonna log it while trying to burn out so he can see what's going on. I don't expect him to tune/fix it blind.

Without seeing the tune it's always hard to help alot.

On my buddys 2011 silverado they have a throttle table for opening rate, it's set extremely cautious. I set it to open at as quick as possible at any moment, also I took away most of the torque mngt it had. The 2011's are kinda a big difference because of the 6 speed trans though.

2010's have 6 speed transmission's... Pretty much everything past 2008 in trucks has 6 speeds!

Like I said I'm not the one tuning it but by adjusting the opening rate what does that do for drive ability? Does it feel too sensitive on normal driving?
