BADD ASS VHO

I have a 2008 denali sierra took it to a shop had lt headers stall and a cam put in ran in to some probs with the cam first it had sensors on cam cylinder on demand they told me then they said they had to switch covers cause it had 1 bolt instead of 3 on cam crank gear then they couldnt tune it.they say there waiting for someone to get back to them about updated software to remove the variable valve timing sensor's to get in and tune it.has anyone did a 07 08 denali and run it to this problem will i have any problems by them removing these sensor's from the truck
