Ok, I cleaned the throttle body and let the battery disconnected for 15 minutes. It no longer wants to die at idle, but now it has a difficult time returning to idle when driving up to a stop sign or light. When stopping it wants to hold a higher idle longer or drops to ~500 and then back to ~1100 and then eventually back to a normal idle. I know, check codes. I just didn't get there yet (if there is no light on now, will a code be in the ECM?).

 

Could be a vacuum leak.
