I have a 06 silverado 1500 with a 5.3 flex fuel with vcm os id 12619623. I want to do a 2 bar map sd tune on it but hptuners says it not available. Some of the other 06's have the sd enhancement, can i just load one of those files? thanks in advance for the help

 

I did a 3 bar sd set up on my 06. I did it back in 07 and they told me the same thing. It wasn't available. I sent them the tune file and 6 months later I had sd enhancements.

 

Did your 06 have the same vcm os id #?

 

no it used a different os
