Default 03 SS Silverado Cruise Control Intermittent After Cam,Stall, and Tune

I just did a New Motor w a 223/223 Cam, 2800 Circle D Stall and a Shift Kit and Tune w HP Tuners

I've flashed this truck a bunch before w HP 30x before and its never messed w anything so I'm ruling that out.

About a Year before this my Heated Seat on the Drivers Side started not working and now its both sides.....Trucks got 190k on it so I'm assuming the heating elements have a broken strand in them from ppl getting I and out of it.

I am guessing its either cause of the Stall or the Cam......

Light on the Dash to indicate the cruise is active doesn't come on, when it does it functions fine, may shut off on random when it does work.....10% of the time.

Try posting this on HP tuners. Are you running the new version (3.0 i think)? I had a problem with a Cobb tune disabling my CC on a bmw 135i.

Misfires, real or false, can inhibit cruise control.

Killing the DTC will just stop it from throwing a code, but the misfire will still count.

Try this. Go to Eng Diag, Misfire, and change all the values in all 7 of the tables (Rev Mode Low/med/high rpm, and Cyl Mode all 4 tabs) to the max value of 32,767. Save the tune file as a different name, and write calibration.

That will tell you if a "misfire" is actually causing your cruise control problem.

If you still have the cruise control problem, flash your old tune back onto the PCM, cause it wasnt misfire related.
