OK, Here goes. Installed the Jakes 4l80 w/trans brake. Jumped to a 02 operating system and performed the segment swap. Problems...

Trans shift to hard at light throttle... guessing to lessen line pressure?
Air/fuel is all over the place now... F' it, working on 2 bar swap now
Need to know what needs to be changed to make SURE the transbrake does not engage because of manual overide shifting.

If your using 2bar SD, did you disable the fail safe for the MAF and max line pressure? Im not around my laptop so im not sure what its called.

does the transbrake have wires of its own? Sorry, i dont know how its wired up.

 

I am using EFILIVE. I did disable the trans parameters. Brake hooks up using the factory harness. Have not got that far. Using cos3 and gonna try it with mo PE, just straight rpm/2 bar map.

Im using a 2000 OS with no probs, maybe you could try switching OS ???
