What cam does he want? If he goes with a cam similar to the krc220 or comp 273 he'll probably need to get a SMT6 to tune it with. Any cam smaller than that won't require tuning to run but ofcourse to get all of the hp of the cam you should still get the SMT6.

Yeah soon being the key word!! what about just getting a Tune done with no mods. This Truck is about to get A magnaflow.. He is on a tight budget and exhaust and tune are about th only mods he can afford right now..

If he is only getting an exhaust right now their is no need for a tune yet. Also, if you get the 6.1 or 218 cam thier is also no need for a tune. If he is looking for more power then get lt headers, Superchips and CAI.

After he drove my Silverado with a tune before i got the full exhaust setup he wanted to see what a tune could do for his truck.. It's not slow but he wants to be able to catch me at some point.. Headders are a maybe but mostly Magnaflow and a tune is what he's after. He has considered Superchips handhelds but he would rather have a full custom tune !

There is no "full custom tune" for the Hemi yet. The Chevy trucks have LS1 Edit, Nelson, Predator, HP Tuners, etc. but we have nothing remotely close to a full custom tune.

Hey Evil Twin I can already catch you now and the tune and exhaust I have been planning beens I got the truck. I don't want to go to crazy at the moment do to the fact that the motor is still under warranty just something to help push the 20"s.
