I'm selling my 99 fellows. The bottom end has 151,000 miles on it and I have another 98' 5.7 in the shed that goes with the truck. The 5.7 needs a crank and rod. The 5.3 has never been sprayed. It doesn't smoke and uses only the normal quart between oil changes. The trans. has about 25000 miles on it. About 4 months ago I sent the Auburn back and they sent me a new upgraded posi. The truck ran a best of 12.75 @104 in decent weather. The truck is at No Problem Raceway regularly, so ask around. I'm asking $10,000. Call if you have more questions. 985-513-1822

so the bottom end of the motor has 150 but what does the top half of it have ?IS there anything wrong with the truck that i should know about? Was that time strickly motor?

 

The reason I say the bottom end is because I put the heads on at the beginning of this year. I bought the heads from another ls1 and had them ported and the valve job done. The cam was installed at around 40,000miles. The rod bolts were upgraded at about 50,000. Everything else in the short block has 151k.
My truck has never seen Nitrous. I don't like temperary performance.
The truck will need tires soon, but we can talk about that. Other than tires and one Cig. burn from the previous owner in the headliner, Its fine.
The truck went 12.75 in what I call descent weather for south,La. The air was dry , not humid. When some good winter weather comes it should go 12.50's. Don't hesitate to call or ask more questions. (985) 513- 822

Up until I bought a third vehicle june of 06, I drove it everyday to work. The only reason I treat the red truck different than the silver one is because of the 2800. When I put the 2800 in I was told not to pull anything heavier than a bass boat. Other than that I go anywhere in the truck. 3 years ago we went to Gatlinburg,Tn. in the red truck. It was great and got 20mpg going and coming. City driving it gets 14 &15mpg. I have a custom single 3" exhaust system with a Quickflow or a Magnaflow. Both are 3" inlet/outlet. Sometimes I like it quiet and sometimes i like it not so quiet. Ok, pictures. My wife went on a bachelorette party with the camera. Now it's Sun. evening and raining. So I'll send you what I've got and possibly take some more tommorrow of interior and such. By the way, The truck was dyno tuned at Futral Motorsports right after the heads were installed in Jan. of this year. 316 rwhp. I'll get you pics soon.
