I have a good buddy Selling his 03 Dark Shadow Grey Lightning that sits with 49,600 miles. The truck is incredibly clean inside and out. The interior is flawless. On one side (passenger I believe) there is a scuff on the lower cladding by the door, otherwise its perfect. Even that is hard to detect as you can see in the pictures. The paint is in great shape. The truck was never driven in winters and it shows... this is not a typical rust belt truck.

I helped him install the headers just last winter.

Minor mods to the truck include:
Pulley swap
Intake
Efans
American Racing Headers (headers and catback)
TA rear differential girdle cover
2" Eibach rear shackle
Upgraded heat exchanger
JLP coolant expansion
Larger transmission cooler
Transgo shift kit (much like the 80e, this trans with a shift kit is very strong)
some stereo upgrades.

Truck was tuned at Performance Dyno in NH and runs very strong. Boost is within reason at about 14PSI and it made over 540 ft/lbs! I attribute that to the truck having a great exhaust system... most mod guys skip this step...

Tires have plenty of life left and all fluids are freshly changed.

2003 Ford Lightning

 

Monday night bump. This is a beauty of a truck.

 

If I didn't have kids this would be sitting in my driveway. Just to commute.
