Love the Cab personally, the amount of alcholhol is great and when you find a good one you almost have to buy three bottles at a crack because as soon as evryone knows its a good year it's sold out!
Half a V and a couple glasses of Cab puts you in LALA land.

LMAO, he's sort right about the ananlogy though, it's still funny that he is 19 and not 21, but I understand the point. I have had some real french wine (and it was absolutely awesome-yes), but your right, the bottle stuff for import isn't usually the same barrel select they bottle there. However, that's just it, everybody thinks French make the best wine. Maybe there is some truth to their "velvet" style, but there are a ton of other countries making good wine and in my nicest tone ever, **** the french. I don't care how good there **** is. Back stabbing ***** bastards.
and Germany...that's some beer making *****'s there. I'd never talk **** about their suds.
You virginia guys ever go to the virginia wine festival? It has been in Bull Run National Park past 2 years. Drink samples ALL day.
Just because I broke it off with you and decided to date mwalls doesn't make it right for you to go around complaining in public.

Lately I've found a better way to sample the wines from big and smaller wineries w/o having to commit to a wine club. There's a website called http://wine.woot.com where they offer a wine deal (duo, trio, quad, vertical or mini vert., etc) that's different every week. I've gotten 7 orders off there already, and some woot-off wines from the parent site (www.woot.com) before the wine.woot took off a year later or so. I find it's a great way to get some of the more 'reserve' offerings from wineries that might not have tastings to locals who drive by or even have tasting rooms to begin with. No, i'm not making any money off of them, but if it opens others up to trying different things, then it's worth letting others know of their options.
I've got a recently offered HumBug with your name on it if you want it

If you are near Houston, there's a good winery in Plantersville called Bernhardt with a good selection, their Aggie Blush is excellent!
