just saw the thread and everything, and i must say wayne got a bad first impression. i cant believe a mod was actin like that. i wish the thread hadnt been locked cause then i would of called out all that bs. i drive a pos buick and i still know more numbers then most of those guys. the 4 door srt10 runs mid to high 13s depending on lauch and truck (no 2 are exactly the same). the 2 doors are a 6spd and run low to mid 13s on paper but a very very good driver could probably get around 12.9 i think 12.7s pushin it for bone stock. haha and i like all that trash talk about lightnings cause its total bs. one reason i love lightnings is because its so easy to get it from the stock (01-02) 13.5 time to high to low 12s. cheaper too cause all you need is a pulley and maybe some new tires and there you go. yeah there are more ***** car guys than truck guys, but theres a lot more. and my friend who owns a lightning bought a 12 sec club sticker and its a 99 with an intake that doesnt run close to that. he says with new tires hed be in 12s but thats bs. raced him in a z28 with free ram air(just a cut in the bottom of the intake). intake lid, and tires with NO TREAD (literally). needless to say we killed the lightning but id still rather have the lightning. ah but im rambling now. the ls1tech forums have mostly cool guys taht post but there are the numerous doushes as well. those car ppl dont take into account that trucks are heavier, most times less aerodynamic, and have a hell of a lot less weight on the back tires. none of my camaro friends appreciate the pic of a lightning in a wheelie that i have as my background as much as me. damn. sorry for the rant and welcome to ls1tech/performancetrucks.net

Yeah, I thought that mods were supposed to stay neutral, for the most part anyway.
