And I totally agree with the attitude comments. Truck people are just cooler about things, period. I'm willing to bet that all of us on this site could prolly get together and there'd be nothing but good natured ribbing, some racing and lot's of drinking. Put Camaro and Mustang guys together in the same setting, I bet some ****'d end up shot.

i cant take that bias **** towards trucks . this guy talking **** in town last weekend at the races to take my big *** truck home . mind you he owns a turbo's dx civic , thats a single over head non-vtec 8lbs of boost and smoking lol thought he was hot **** but he forgot he raced my bestfriend already . i said lets go everyone aorund was laughin at me and the kid took advantage of it and started ragging on me . finally before a fight breaks out because im laughin at him and hes getting pissed i said get your head out your *** get in your car and run me , u wanna make me look like a *** then do it . mind u i ran a 15.9 before my intake and bypass . thats not much more but were tlakin in the staging lanes for 30 mins in 86 degree weather already . so i run him when i hit second gear at 44 or so i had two trucks , when i hit thrid i had one . regardless i beat him , hes laughed out , he never came back turned around and went home . it pisses me off when people have no belief in things .

sorry for the novel , and the rant . just i get this **** a the saturday night hangout and its bullshit

Anyway back on topic. F-bodys are cool in there own way. But, I am 6'8'' 300lbs, and build like a bouncer. I have no need for a unpractical car.

A 11 second F-body is a 12 second F-body, But, a 11 second truck is rare.

And you're right. An 11 sec truck is rare.

can i get a amen my brothers and sisters . lol . i wanted a 98 and up camaro 6 speed . and my mom has a 2002 camaro . now thinking of the last 3 years of me owning my 94 and now the 05 we saved a lot of money , hell i made money . the two cars at a party i pulled out of a ditch for 15 each haha drunks . helping people move . towing a friends car on a dolly . towing my friends boat to crystal river for him cuz his 98 dodge with a 318 struggles with his tranny slipping . just people dont notice trucks aerodynamics arent a factor anymore . you can get a truck to run just as fast as any other street car . and still tow **** . my friends all wanna know why im modding this truck i should have bought a honda . then i enform them i ran a 16.1 bone stock and they ran high 17's low 17's stock and i can still pull them to the track and beat them . but not all imports are bad my buddys 99 si civic runs 15.5 now and he has a new motor and tranny for it in his living room were building . shooting for high 13's all motor no power adders . ahhh im in a tlakative mod ill restrain my typing now lol sorry
