And this is why I hate cats.....

I have been without my truck for 27 days.....all due to a horrible hail storm that hit sudden. Finally got it back with a brand new paint job, and man is it slick! This morning I was welcomed by cat prints and scratches on my brand new F@CKING PAINT AND COWL HOOD. The neighbors have 5 cats, and never had this problem before, figures....lol. These are elderly people, and there is no reasoning with them, the cats are like there children. Also, our houses arent close either, its like this little bastard was on a mission, need some advice guys, I know what i want to do, but the wife is against it if you know what I mean....

Can you prove it was their cat(s)? I would get an estimate, and send them a bill. If they think of their cats like children, they will understand that when you have things like cats or children, they will make you aquire unwanted expenses like that. If they don't want to pay it, then I would file a claim in civil court. If you can prove that their cats did the damage, you will win the suit. If they are going to own thngs that may cause damage to someone elses property they had better be prepared to pay for the damages. When you go for the estimate, I would go to the guy that did the paint job for you. He might even just be able to buff it out depending on how bad it is.

whoa ehhh weee i would definitely kill those cats i am already alergic to them i would kill them with a dog or something or like the other guy said just send them off far far away but idk if that works for cats they always find a way back best thing is to kill them

I HATE cats--absolutely HATE them. They serve no purpose, kill random other animals, and have scratched my vehicles before also. I have a tendency of "getting rid" of my neighbors' cats fairly efficiently (call PETA on me if you feel like bitching, because I won't take the time to fuss over it).
I'd set up a video camera and get a nice clip of the bastards on your hood and bill your neighbors. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Yeah gadget, they are the only ones I have.... the scratches are barely in the clear thank god, they should come out easily, but thats not the point. Good news, during all these comments, my friend dropped off a cage that we baited with tuna. If hes in their in the morning he's getting a nice road trip! Cat lovers, dont worry.....there isnt any anitfreeze in it.........this time

Chris, ill have a nice size box coming from corey here soon. We can fill it full of cats and return to sender!
Seriously though ive got the same problem. 2 weeks after getting the front cap sprayed i found cat prints and scratches on the hood. They were light enough to buff out luckily!
