Why do cops like to hassle me? (legal?)

i was at my buddies house tonight,i parked out in the street but around the corner from his house. kind of a cauld-a-sac without anyway houses. anyways, i come outside to leave and ive got a ticket on my car. 2 violations. no front plate, window tint.
mind you just about every car/truck there has these same violations.....
can i get a ticket for these without even driving my car? i know that the street is public property, but i thought these were moving violations.....?
window tint -
cvc 26708. (a) (1) No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any object or material placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied upon the windshield or side or rear windows.
doesnt that say while drivng?
front plate -
5200. (a) When two license plates are issued by the department for use upon a vehicle, they shall be attached to the vehicle for which they were issued, one in the front and the other in the rear.
i think im busted for this one though......
ive never messed with any cops here, and i dont recognize the name so what gives? think its worth fighting?

as for your point on fighting it. its a violation once you are moving. if the vehicle is towed places and just shown you could win that fight but it isnt. as for tint, your screwed on that one and no front plate, not sure on that one since we dont have that issue here

put the plate on and tell the judge its there now, i got mine dropped, and a couple buddies have removed tint and got those dropped.
your story is funny though cause i was parked out side of a dairy queen a couple weeks ago at about 1 30 am using their wifi and and a hi-po pulled in to make sure i wasnt doing anything i wasnt upposed to i guess and actually checked my windows and the were 22% (35 being the legal limit) and he told me he wasnt going to make a big deal of it since i wasnt operating on the highway but that it was a heads up and i should get my windshield fixed where its cracked aswell, handed me my license back and told me to have a nice night. guess i got lucky

LOL Somethig like that happened to a guy I know on a Fri or Sat night and he got a ticket, took it to court and the judge lectured the officer about giving a GD ticket like that on a Sat night? Said he should be doing bigger and better things on a weekend night. Needless to say it got dropped.

To check the darkness of the tint dont they have to have access to both sides of the window? Dont they hold a piece inside the window and shoot it with the gun from the outside to take a reading. If all of your windows were up then they could not have an accurate reading. The tag is an easy one if you just throw one on you will get out of that one.

Yes fight it. Sounds like you got a good point, go talk to your/a lawyer (free legal advice).
