I have been thinking about it for while now. I live in Northern Maryland. I have thought of a place called "High Rock". Its a huge rock at the top of a mountain and overlooks miles of land, fields, and houses. Where did you guys propose. It doesnt have to be around here. I love traveling anyway. Dont really want to leave the country to do it. I want it to be perfect (Romantic) for her. Thanks for your help and advice.

 

I have been thinking about the same thing here lately, but I am about 6 months away from that day..... Anyways but some real thought into it, figure out what your GF really likes to do, then surprise her during one of those times.
My plan is to wait until we go camping in Colorado (that is where my GF grew up) and find a nice private spot out in the wilderness and then ask. My GF has a favorite spot she has been going to up in the Flat tops in colorado where she carved her initials in a tree like 20 years ago. It is about a 4 hour horse back ride to get to the spot, but that is my plan.
